Special Memories Celebrant
I decided to take a celebrant training course in August 2020 during the lockdown period.
​
Having a broadcast voice and journalistic acumen, I was determined to come up with a fresh style of funeral service delivery and to offer up something new and hopefully a little different.
​
As with most professions, you learn on the go and I have been able to become vastly experienced in a relatively short space of time.
​
Nothing can prepare an individual for the certain types of scenarios that present themselves, but I always felt confident that I’d gained enough life experience to cope.
​
My mantra is simple, there is only one opportunity to get a funeral service right, and it will always be my intention to get it right.
​
I approach being a Celebrant with the same professional outlook in which I treat sports broadcasting, I always strive to be the very best that I can be, by delivering accurate and uplifting life eulogies and offering the best possible send-off.
​
I understand fully the bewilderment and grief attached to losing a loved one.
Never would I wish myself upon anybody ever, but as a professional celebrant, I’m here to consult and represent if ever I am needed.
